THREE AMSTERDAM CHEFS IN ITALY

As chefs, we crafted our very first sausages in the kitchens of Amsterdam's restaurant scene. That's where our love of sausage began. But to learn to make the world's best dried sausage, we travelled to Italy. We went to the epicentre of dried meats for apprenticeships with renowned butchers like the Savigni family and Dario Cecchini. But we learned perhaps the most from Carlo Petrini, founder of Slow Food international, an organisation dedicated to good, clean, fair food.

SAUSAGE WITH A MISSION

We realised that so much of the sausage we eat is produced from pigs who led terrible lives. That had to change. A great life makes for great quality meat. We returned to the Netherlands with a mission and set off on our adventure: starting our own sausage company. Where we make the most delicious sausage from the best pigs, by hand. Following our own recipes and dreaming up exciting flavour pairings and surprising ingredients.

We work exclusively with properly raised pigs - our own pigs raised by friendly farmers and organic pigs raised right here in the Netherlands. All of our farms meet the highest animal welfare standards, and you'll find the entire pig in our range. Nothing goes to waste. All products made from our own pigs feature a Gold label and you can recognise our organic products from the Pink label. Our pink label is SKAL certified. 

All of our properly raised pigs come from Sanders Hof.

We source our organic Dutch pork from De Groene Weg and Deli Harmony.
